Blogging interrupted...............

I'm sitting here this morning, having accidentally slept too late to go to church, listening to music on a Christian radio station. Life has been so crazy that I haven't finished blogging about 12 Days of Giving, which has touched my life so tremendously I can't even find the words to explain. I have 5 blog posts saved that I need to finish and publish, which I will.

But that's not the point of this post.

So I'm sitting here, listening to music, trying to find just the right picture of Lila for our Christmas card, when a song comes on the radio that stops all progress.

And soon, tears are streaming down my face.

These are the words to the song:

You lived among the least of these
The weary and the weak
And it would be a tragedy for me to turn away.

All my needs you have supplied.
When I was dead you gave me life.
How could I not give it away so freely?

And I`ll follow you into the homes that are broken.
Follow you into the world.
Meet the needs for the poor and the needy God.
Follow you into the world.

Use my hands use my feet
To make your kingdom come
Through the corners of the earth
Until your work is done
`cause faith without works is dead
And on the cross your blood was shed
So how could I not give it away so freely?

And I'll follow you into the homes that are broken.
Follow you into the world.
Meet the needs for the poor and the needy God.
Follow you into the world.

Hugs~
